Whoa

Sat Aug 29, 2009, 3:22 AM
  • Mood: Alarmed
  • Listening to: The Prodigy
  • Reading: Naruto (Omg Whut!?)
  • Watching: nuthin
  • Playing: Again nothing (I'm waiting for Dissidia)
  • Eating: Pop Tarts! (mmm)
  • Drinking: Nothing again!
Well, hello and all that.

But yeah. Recently I started reading Naruto again. I know, I know. But I was bored and thought I'd read the newest chapter.

I don't quite know why I did it. Or even how it happened. But as I'm reading it, I got to thinking "Hey, this isn't half bad."
So then I read the chapter before that.
And then I went and found a plot summary so I knew what the hell was happening and who'd died and all that.

Fast forward to now and I'm reading from where I left off, like, two years ago. (Where Sasuke leaves Konoha, in case you care)
BUT that's not even the half of it, because today I read the most recent update and suddenly I got this feeling. At first I didn't get what it was, it was like fuzzy and warm... And then I realised. Its the same feeling I get when I see Edgeworth, or Wesker, or Kyon.
I could only come to one conclusion; I really like Sasuke.
That one character I'd ALWAYS hated with extreme venom. The one character I'd wished could just die because he was a stupid emo brat.
I couldn't believe it, but that's magic of Naruto for you.

(On another note, I read the ending to Shaman King. Its pretty cool. Ren is HOT at the end)

Games galore!

Sun Aug 2, 2009, 5:07 AM
  • Mood: Joy
  • Listening to: Florence and the Machine
  • Reading: Zombie CSI
  • Watching: Lie to Me
  • Playing: Star Ocean: The Last Hope
  • Eating: Not a thing.
  • Drinking: Tap water. Woo.
Well it was my birthday recently. This yaoi shipper finally hit the big one eight, and I finally got that one thing my life was missing; an Xbox 360.

Oh yes, I've caught them all. I've already got the bread bin and the white box and now I am the proud owner of the toaster.

The first game I bought? Fable two. And, you know what, it's not too bad~
I like the fact you can choose your gender, and I love the whole dog thing too, just one gripe; I wish the changes your character takes on due to morality would be a little more extreme, you know? I chose to be good and all you get is white hair and a halo. My sister was bad, and you get black hair and red eyes. Big whoop. I just expected a little more, but oh well, the gameplay was good~

And the second game? Star Ocean: The Last Hope. I'd heard mixed reviews on this one, but hey, I'm short on non Final Fantasy RPGs and thought I'd give it a shot, seeing as I quite liked the last star ocean. I love the battle system, I have to say, and the characters personalitys are pretty cool, loving the Private Actions, as always. But I do have to agree that the characters looks are a little generic. They could have just sprung out of any sci-fi anime or game. Also I have two "Harley Gripes". These are the things in a game which annoy me, and usually only me;

First: Edge. He's a whiney emo boy sometimes and needs someone to slap him and say "Shut the fuck up and get on with it you little Tidus impressionist!"

Second: Reimi's nose. I can't help looking at it in every cut scene she's in. Seriously, what happened game designers? O_o

Wild boredom has appeared.

  • Mood: Lazy
  • Listening to: Chata: Dumpling Family
  • Reading: Resident Evil by S.D Perry
  • Watching: Not a THING
  • Playing: Pokemon Diamond still. Fear mah Turtwig!
  • Eating: Bagels!
  • Drinking: Juice, yay!
I'd just like to start this off by saying something: I really don't like half term. I've never been so bored in my entire life.
Its not as if I'm even being retardedly bored either. Its not as if I'm sat surrounded by my technology. No, I'm at my beloved mothers, and I've left my ps3, computer and Wii at home. and I've not seen the DS in, like, ages.
All I have is my ipod and dock, and my Resident Evil novel.
Joy unbounded.
And I can bring myself to draw either. I keep getting all the stuff out and then getting "Final Fantasy Syndrome" where I start for about 2 minutes and then get pig sick of it.
So, to keep myself amused, I've read the whole Resident Evil timeline about twenty thousand times.
If anyone asked I'd be able to tell you the whole damn story.
All week I've been quoting Barry Burton.
My stupid excuse for a sister even knows it all now, every time she sees me she goes "Oh Barry!" in the most brilliant impression of Jill I've ever heard.
It's offial, I. Have. No. Life.

"I'll be examining this"

Pfffft.

I have returned!

  • Mood: Amused
  • Listening to: STILL Dear You, from Higurashi no naku koko ni.
  • Reading: Skip beat. I need to catch up on my Manga!
  • Watching: Haruhi!
  • Playing: Pokemon Diamond. I loves mah Pokemanz
  • Eating: Chocolate! Again!
  • Drinking: Not a thing. But I did have a capri-sun earlier
Well, title says it all really~
My net died. Again.
And I had to deal with the 'little Orange people' (here's looking at you Ade!). Again.
I think I have some sort of curse. Maybe I should go to a gypsie lady and ask her to remove it.
Perhaps I shall.
Meanwhile, I have been drawing quite a lot, but alas, my scanner is with my mother, so I'll have to do the old picture taking trick when I can be bothered. Joy.
What else has happened?
Um, I rewatched Haruhi and Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge (or The Wallflower~) again. I like these sorts of anime, perhaps its because when you've read/watched enough shojo as I have, anything a little diffrent is a blessing~

Well, enough blathering on

Nessie out.

Hurrah!

  • Mood: Pride
  • Listening to: Dear You, from Higurashi no naku koko ni~
  • Reading: Anything from www.videogamerecaps.com. Teh funny!
  • Watching: The Spongebob Squarepants movie
  • Playing: Harvest moon, Island of Happiness
  • Eating: Chocolate!
  • Drinking: Milk. That tastes a little funny. Oh well.
It is with a mouthful of chocolate I write this~ Yummeh!
I just saw the second death note movie! I know I'm slow, but hey. You can't have everything.
Rem was so cute! Shame about the sandiness though.
I didn't think it was as good as the first one. But now on to the main hub and gist of my journal.
Film4.
Just how awsome is it becoming?
Both Death Note movies, and last night I recorded Tales From Earthsea. I know you can buy these movies, but to have them on UK television makes me feel all proud and warm inside.
On another note, Rising Star Games, the company that releases the games that my soul feeds off of, Harvest Moon, has resently gotten a hell of a lot better, and is releasing more games of the strange Japanese nature.
And I do so love strange Japanese games. Lux Pain is up on my list at the minute.
And, I recently heard, on the grapevine (Read: obbsessive googling) That the new Phoenix Wright game, Perfect Prosecutor, comes out in Japan soon. All I can say is; OHMYFUSKINGGODHOTMILESEDGEWORTHACTONHEADINGMYWAY.
I do so love Miles Edgewoth. A lot. In a totally wrong way.
Also while I'm on the subject of games: Resident Evil 5. Wesker. I refuse to believe what they've done to his character history. I know that's really silly and irrational, but I do so love him. So no. That crap doesn't fly with me.
So there.
I pout in Capcom's general direction.
